Raised on the primitive route and within the Roman wall, it holds the Blessed Sacrament perpetually exposed, a centuries-old privilege that gives the city its name (‘Lugo of the Sacrament’). Its deep naves preserve a famous Romanesque doorway and the Baroque chapel of the Ollos Grandes.
