Rosalía de Castro 190: the complete literary works
The Mestre Mateo Digital Library will publish the complete literary works of Rosalía de Castro on 24 February 2027, the day of her birth.
The Mestre Mateo Cultural Association, through the Mestre Mateo Digital Library, is preparing the digital edition of the complete literary works of Rosalía de Castro, on the 190th anniversary of her birth (Santiago de Compostela, 24 February 1837). The publication of her entire work will take place on the day of her birth itself, 24 February 2027.
Following the edition of the complete literary works of Federico García Lorca, this is the association’s second major editorial project: a carefully prepared, freely accessible edition bringing together the poetry and prose of the author of Cantares gallegos, Follas novas and En las orillas del Sar.
Over the coming months we will be presenting materials, images and texts about Rosalía and her work.
