21Monastery of Santa María de Meira

A great Cistercian church of Latin-cross plan and three naves, austerely monumental in true Cistercian fashion. Founded in the 12th century in the Terra Chá of Lugo, it preserves its characteristic façade with a great rose window and an architecture of marked Burgundian influence.
