Lugo

City and municipality of Galicia, capital of the province and the comarca of Lugo. It was founded in 25 BC by Paulo Fabio Máximo under the name Lucus Augusti, near a hillfort, and is the oldest city in Galicia. Its Roman walls were declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.
