Annual free festival of traditional folk music of the Celtic nations, founded in 1978 by the Ortigueira bagpipe school. It is normally held on the second weekend of July in the town of Ortigueira. It was declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest in 2003 and of International Tourist Interest in 2005.
