Natural park protecting the dune system, marshes and the lagoons of Carregal and Vixán, at the western tip of the Barbanza peninsula, in Ribeira, between the Arousa and Muros e Noia estuaries. It is also a Special Area of Conservation, a Special Protection Area for birds and a Ramsar wetland of international importance.
