Archipelago at the mouth of the Vigo estuary, in the Rías Baixas, administratively part of the municipality of Vigo. It was declared a natural park in 1980 and since 2002 has been part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia Maritime-Terrestrial National Park. It is also a Natura 2000 Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area for birds.
