Medieval castle of the 12th century, origin and seat of power of one of the most significant lineages of medieval Galicia, the Soutomaior. In the 15th century Pedro Madruga lived there and improved its defences to adapt them to firearms. Since 2018 it has housed a museum. It is a Bien de Interés Cultural.
