The Rapa das Bestas is the Galician tradition of rounding up wild horses in the hills, bringing them down to the curros (enclosures) and clipping their manes before returning them to the mountain. It is held mostly in summer in several villages; the one in Sabucedo (A Estrada), on the first weekend of July, has been a Festival of International Tourist Interest since 2007.
